October marks the beginning of National Safe Work Month. At Grace, we believe that our people are our most important asset and we regularly update our protocols to ensure they can perform their tasks safely and effectively.
But we want to step it up a notch and have created a fun new way to ensure that we all Think Safe, Work Safe and Be Safe. Introducing our Spin and Win Safety Wheel! A new and rewarding initiative to help make our workplace even safer!
So, how does it work?

You automatically receive a prize or gift card once you’ve earned 100 points. You can win points for each of the categories listed below, so spin away!
| Find Hazard and Report it | Take a picture of the hazard, report it to your manager, upload picture into form and submit. | 10 points |
| Speak Up for Safety at Grace | Raise a safety issue with your work mates, supervisor or branch manager. Tell us about the issue and how it was resolved. | 5 points |
| Come up Safety Slogan for Grace | Submit a slogan that represents safety in Grace. | 5 points |
| Complete Grace Learn – Safety Course | Search for a Safety course in Grace Learn and complete a course. Complete form let us know the course name completed. | 5 points |
| Get Your COVID-19 Vaccination | Forward your Certificate to your Manager, complete the form let us know you have submitted your evidence. | 10 points |
| Tell Us Your Safety Story | Write a short story – how you have changed your work habits to be safer in the workplace. | 5 points |
| Use Mechanical Aid for Heavy Item | Use a dolly, trolley or organise to use a forklift to move a heavy item -take a picture and upload into form and submit. | 8 points |
| Report Faulty Equipment | Identify fault equipment and alert your manager immediately. Tell us about it by completing the form put details in the form, take a photo and submit information in form. | 10 points |
