Our innovative mobile self storage solution, Smartbox is available in Sydney and Melbourne. We service all suburbs in the greater metropolitan areas with affordable, convenient self-storage that comes to you. No need to hire a truck or removalists. Smartbox comes in 3 sizes – Baby Box, Standard Box and Super Box. We deliver the Smartbox to your home or business in a fully enclosed ‘smart’ trailer for you to load, once you’re done we pick it up and store it inside our secure storage facility.

We pride ourselves on providing high quality storage facilities in Sydney and Melbourne. Our facilities are modern, clean and most importantly, pest and vermin free with state-of-the-art security around the clock. Upon arrival, your Smartbox is logged in our computer system for easy tracking and retrieval, making adding and retrieving your belonging on site easy. If you wish to access your Smartbox onsite, all you need to do is call and make an appointment to visit the storage facility beforehand. We’ll have your Smartbox ready for you when you arrive. Alternatively, our self storage team can deliver it to your door upon request.
We also offer a Load4U service
Smartbox offers a complete packing and loading service, Load4U, because we understand loading a vehicle can be a bit strenous for many people. So, don’t worry about the packing and loading of your precious belongings. Leave it to the experts. Our professional removalists are experts at packing boxes and protecting furniture for storage. We use specially designed boxes and protective materials intended to protect your belongings while in transit or storage.

We have three sizes of Smartbox.
The Baby Box
Outside measurements: 1.8m long x 1.8m wide x 2.3m high.
Internal measurements: 1.7m long x 1.7m wide x 2.1m high.
You can generally fit all the belongings from a studio to 1 bedroom home into one Baby Smartbox.
The Standard Box
Outside measurements: 3m long x 1.8m wide x 2.3m high.
Internal measurements: 2.9m long x 1.8m wide x 2.1m high.
You can generally fit all the belongings from a 1 – 2 bedroom home into one Standard Smartbox.
The Super Box*
Outside measurements: 4.4m long x 2.3m wide x 2.1m high.
Internal measurements: 4.3m long x 2.2m wide x 2.0m high.
You can generally fit all the belongings from a studio to a 2 bedroom home into one Super Smartbox.
* Super Boxes are only available in Sydney
You can have a Smartbox delivered to anywhere in metropolitan Sydney or Melbourne. There may be a cost added for delivery of your Smartbox, depending upon what suburb you are in and how long you want to store with us. Our Smartbox website contains full details.
We will leave our mobile trailer containing your Smartbox at your place. The trailer is about 6m long from tow bar to the end of the ramp and 3.2m high from the tyres to the roof. This is the equivalent of at least two car spaces. Our driver will need to be able to hook up to the trailer as well, so the more room, the better. Our Smartbox customer service team will discuss access with you when we make the booking.
You have up to one day (24 hours) to pack your Smartbox, then we’ll collect it from you.
Yes there are some items that you are prohibited from storing in a Smartbox. These include perishables, flammables and liquids. See our prohibited items page for more information.
