We can even tell you where the best restaurants and cafes are, which schools will be convenient for your children, and whatever else you need to know about your new location.
Frequently Asked Questions
Storage insurance is an extension of transit insurance cover. It protects against damage and/or loss during the period the goods are in storage. Just as you need to protect your belongings from loss whilst they are in your home, you also need to protect them throughout the moving and storage process. Whilst Grace will take the utmost care of your effects, there are circumstances outside of our control that may put your belongings at risk. Yes, our specialist division Grace Fine Art has the skills and resources to safely pack, transport and store delicate works of art as well as collectable furniture items. Items requiring specialist care will be identified and a made to measure wooden crate will be used to protect the item during transit. We also offer climate controlled storage for artworks and sensitive items at our capital city storage locations.
An authorised representative needs to be at both the uplift and delivery of your belongings. At delivery it is especially important that this person can advise the Grace crew on the placement of furniture and cartons in the new home.
The Grace moving crew will disassemble and reassemble beds for your relocation. We may also need to remove table legs and buffet mirrors in order to safely transport these items. Household furniture items we disassemble will be reassembled at delivery.
The dismantling and reassembly of items such as trampolines, gym and swing sets does not form part of our normal service as there is often a need for specialised tools. Your Grace moving consultant will be able to include an option for specialist assembly services within your quotation proposal.

Your storage can accessed during business hours upon request and subject to reasonable notice. We recommend to notify the relevant Grace branch of your intention to view or retrieve items from your storage at least 2 days prior. Unstowing and retrieval charges are applicable.
