Update on the Flooding Situation in QLD & Northern NSW

Please be advised that due to the extensive nature of the flooding in South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales, Grace’s regular operations in these areas, including Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Bundaberg, have been disrupted. Additionally, rail lines have been closed north and south of Brisbane and the Pacific Highway/ M1 has been closed to Ballina, all of which serve as key routes for the transpiration of our client’s goods. As a result, both uplift and delivery for impacted clients has been delayed with staff unable to reach our sites or customers due to the flooding. Whilst we are currently adding additional resources into our road operations to compensate for the closure of significant highways and rail lines, there will be an impact on our ability to service our customers as we will need to delay scheduled works and jobs until the situation begins to resolve. It is important to note that none of our sites, specifically Willawong and Banyo, are in any danger of flooding, so your goods should not experience any flooding damage. For clients affected by the flooding, your customer service representative will be in touch to keep you appraised of any further developments to your uplift/delivery with Grace. Our thoughts are will our staff and clients in Queensland who are going through this very challenging time. Please remember this if you are seeking answers from teams in this area.
