On a beautiful Saturday morning, 24 August, our Grace team of 17 enthusiastic participants proudly took part in this year’s River Run 100 event in Brisbane. Among the dedicated crew were Lynley Birt, Tatiana Lam, Jessica Hernandez, Julian Aldridge, Corie Reid, Aaliyah Reid, Scott Bartram, Samantha Mears, Antonio Ortiz, and Cheryl Yim. With perfect weather for the 5km run, our team embraced the opportunity to come together for a great cause.
Founded in 2013, the River Run 100 was initially established to support Elisha Neave’s battle with ovarian cancer. Over the years, it has evolved into a beacon of hope and community spirit, raising funds for Dreams2Live4, a charity that grants dreams to adults living with life-threatening illnesses. This year’s event saw 683 participants take part, all united in their dedication to supporting this incredible cause.
The event exemplified the spirit of Grace Gives, our community engagement initiative that aims to give back and support meaningful causes. Through Grace Gives, we are committed to making a positive impact in the communities where we live and work. Supporting events like River Run aligns perfectly with our mission to contribute to health, wellbeing, and community support, especially for those facing life-threatening challenges.
