On 13 August 2026, Grace team members James Knipler, James Nutt and Lisa Shapovalova rolled up their sleeves and joined Greenfleet at the Lucas Heights Conservation Area on Dharawal Country in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire, helping restore a vital native ecosystem through the planting of native trees that will support local wildlife for generations to come.
The site forms part of the endangered Sydney Turpentine Ironbark Forest ecological community, which provides important habitat for species including black cockatoos and koalas. Greenfleet has been restoring the area for several years, creating lasting environmental benefits for the region’s biodiversity.
For James Knipler, the day marked another significant milestone. This was his fourth consecutive Greenfleet tree planting event, and over the years he estimates he has personally planted around 500 trees.
