Since 2017, Grace has collaborated with Vinnies, actively striving to raise funds for individuals in need. The partnership between Grace and Vinnies has played a pivotal role in making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable Australians.
This year, Vinnies will host their NSW Community Sleepout on Friday, 25 August 2023 — a state-wide event that unites communities across regional and metro NSW in solidarity.
Participants will gain insight into the harsh realities faced by those experiencing homelessness and disadvantage by spending a night braving the cold with just a piece of cardboard and a light dinner. Grace will provide warm beanies to participants at five NSW locations – Fred’s Place Tweed Heads, Albury, Armidale, Wagga Wagga and Western Sydney.
The Vinnies NSW Community Sleepout is an initiative that raises funds to assist people experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. The funds raised from the event will stay within each community where the event takes place.
