This can be a huge time saver for your family as well as give you peace of mind knowing everything will arrive at your destination just as it was when packed.

Furniture Protection

Grace uses removal grade quilted blankets to wrap and protect all your heavy furniture during your move. Soft furnishings such as lounge settees and arm chairs are placed in plastic protector bags which safeguard against marking during your move. High value antiques and works of art which require specialist care can be packed into made-to-measure wooden crates.

Grace is committed to a sustainable environment, and as a consequence the majority of our materials are recycled. At Grace, it’s all about giving you peace of mind.

Our packing team will professionally handle and expertly pack your household belongings, labelling each box with a description of its room and contents.

We unpack in your new home

Our moving teams can unpack your cartons to benchtops or you may wish to use our valet unpacking service and have all your home contents unpacked and placed into freshly wiped down cupboards and wardrobes. We even make up your beds with fresh linen, ready for you to relax and enjoy your new home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, you can pack your own boxes. Some clients elect to pack clothes, books and linen and leave the more fragile items to us. If you choose to do this, we will supply you with appropriate professional quality boxes and packing materials.

We can also provide you with instructions for packing your boxes, however we can not be responsible for any breakages in boxes packed by you. There are also insurance sub-limits placed upon owner packed cartons.

Depending on the size of the household, we generally schedule our packing service to occur on the day immediately prior to uplift. An average family of four persons will typically have approximately 100 cartons to pack, which we can complete in a single day with two or three packers. Larger moves may involve two days of packing prior to the move starting.

Whilst our focus is always on the provision of a high quality service and the minimisation of damage during the relocation process, its important to be aware that your goods may be exposed to a number of risks outside of our control during transit and/or storage. This is why we offer and recommend transit insurance cover specifically designed to respond to these risks.

Yes, Grace recycles all boxes, paper and plastics. All Grace moves include an empty carton and packing material collection following your delivery.
