Our head office location in Seven Hills has served us well over the past few decades. 21 years ago, it officially opened, after Grace moved Grace across 900 vehicle movements of 50,000 cubic metres of goods from our site in Lidcombe, Sydney.

Officially an adult by global standards, Grace headquarters will no doubt continue to support the tireless efforts of our dedicated staff.

Through Thick and Thin

This custom built office and warehouse has seen Grace through a great many things, much the same way the company has supported Australian families with some of the biggest moves of their lives. From long distance runs of old that would have current drivers horrified, to the still lingering memories of drivers who travelled the equivalent of circling the equator over 150 times across their career, Seven Hills has been there to support our teams and see our staff achieve excellence for our clients.

Rare images of our warehouse at half capacity. To speed up the move, our trucks were driven through the warehouse to unload the containers directly onto their permanent rows.

Our Seven Hills home watched the acquisition of many companies, welcoming new businesses to the Grace family. It has watched the growth of our Information Management division and welcomed the roll out of our new branding.

It’s seen many changes closer to home too, from a facelift a few years ago to the addition of a purpose built space for the IT department. We’re proud to call this office ‘home’ for our company and look forward to the next few decades (or maybe even another century) here in these walls.

Celebrations for the opening of our site were held in our loading bays, today we have moved close to 3 milion cubic metres through this very spot. That roughly translates to 7,000 moves a year!

Shared birthdays

By happy coincidence, Human Resources Officer Aaron Sharp also turns 21 today! To celebrate the head office team held a joint party for Packer and Aaron to celebrate. Much has changed about our business in the last two decades, but one thing remains the same – our team’s passion and dedication to our “always more” ethos.

Happy birthday Aaron and Packer!
