At Grace, we recognise that without our local communities we would not be as successful as we have been over the years. That’s why we think it’s important to give back, and we do this through our Grace Gives programme which supports local community groups and charities across Australia and New Zealand.
We launched our Grace Gives community initiative in 2016 and gave six local New Zealand charities and five local Australian charities a grant to help facilitate their valuable works.
In New Zealand, the charities and community groups who received a grant were:
- Learn Active
- Coastguard Maraetai
- Equestrian 4 Everyone
- Second Chance Dog Rescue
- The Sexual Abuse Prevention Network
- The New Zealand Centre for Gifted Education
In October this year, we’ll be awarding six new grants to deserving charities and community groups to help them continue to help their local community.
Applications can be made at graceremovals.co.nz/grace-gives-2017/ between October 2 and October 9.
Public voting will open October 9 and close October 29.
In Australia, the charities and community groups who received a grant in the last round were:
- Kids Giving Back
- A Cup of Cope
- The Daniel Morcombe Foundation
- Child Abuse Prevention Service (CAPS)
- Refugee Migrant Children Centre
This year, we’ll be awarding six more grants to deserving community groups and charities. Applications open November 6 and further details can be found on our website.
