ArchiBall Grace Vine Article

The inaugural ArchiBall was held at the Art Gallery of NSW on Saturday, June 30 with Grace Fine Art crates providing the perfect photo opportunity for Sydney’s elite on the red carpet.

A total of 250 guests were invited to an exclusive fundraising dinner held among the gallery’s treasured holdings, including works by Monet, Cézanne and Picasso.

The custom menu was designed by Australian chef, Matt Moran, and guests were entertained by some of Australia’s most beloved musicians.

ArchiBall was the Art Gallery of NSW’s first ever fundraising dinner and it hopes to continue the event annually. All profits from the gala will go to the Learning and Participation Fund (which sits within the umbrella Gallery Foundation) and will be used to grow the gallery’s youth outreach services.

These services include program for schools in socio-economically depressed parts of greater Sydney and regional NSW that brings students to the gallery, usually during Archibald, Wynne and Sulman time.
