FAIMISO becomes FAIMPlus

The premier international removals industry association, The Federation of Internationale Demenageurs Internationaux (FIDI), has marked the beginning of the year by making changes to its accreditation standards.

Fifteen years ago FIDI introduced the FAIM Quality standard, now a well recognised benchmark in our industry. The standard has two levels of attainment - FAIM and the higher level of FAIMISO.

For international operations Grace Removals holds FAIMISO accreditation through our Sydney location. However, all Grace branches are ISO accredited and operate under the FIDI FAIMISO procedures. This ensures our service standards are maintained throughout our business.

On January 1, 2013, to keep abreast industry changes, FIDI released the FAIM 3.0 standard. As part of the release, all accredited companies will be required to undergo a rigorous audit in 2013 to ensure compliance with the new standard, Grace included.

As part of the move to FAIM 3.0, FAIMISO has been given a facelift and will now be known as FAIMPlus. FAIMPlus automatically applies to all FAIMISO accredited companies, which of course includes Grace.

So what's does this higher level of accreditation mean for Grace and our customers?

Grace has voluntarily submitted to audit against higher levels of quality criteria. This demonstrates our confidence in our ability to deliver the highest levels of service to our customers. Only 10 per cent of the FIDI members actually attain this level, demonstrating Grace’s commitment quality and excellence.
