Interstate Pet Transport

For as long as Grace Removals has been in business, we have been moving family pets and appreciate their importance to the family.

We know that pets also suffer stress when moving house so it’s important to consider their needs at all times. That’s why we can arrange specialist pet relocation experts to help you transport your pet with minimal fuss.

Whether you own a dog, cat, bird or any other pet, Grace can arrange door-to-door pet transportation, whether by road or air, through our network of caring professionals. This includes the collection of the pet from your existing home by professional, qualified pet handlers; transportation to the airport; travel management and airline booking; veterinary services where required; collection from the airport at the destination; and personal delivery to the new residence.

We can also arrange any boarding services that are required. Our pet transfer partners are specialist professionals when it comes to animal handling and must pass our rigorous checks before deployment.

Here are some helpful tips when transporting your pet:

  • Take your pet for a visit to the vet prior to relocation. This way you can get your pet checked out for any health problems; make sure their vaccinations, flea treatments and worming are up to date; and get their medical records to take with you.
  • Include a blanket, toy or something familiar to your pet in the travel crate.
  • Do not feed your pet on the day of travel.
