Interstate Furniture Removals
When it comes to furniture removalists, Grace Removals are by far the best. Having been in the removals industry for more than 100 years, Grace knows the best way to handle interstate furniture removals to reduce the risk of damage in transit.
Grace Removals uses special shock resistant poly-bubble export blankets to wrap and protect all your heavy furniture during your move or we can offer individual wrapping for high value furniture items like designer lounge suites or dining tables.
- All your soft furnishings such as lounge setees and arm chairs are placed in plastic protector bags which safeguard against marking during your move.
- High value antiques and works of art which require specialist care can be packed into made-to-measure wooden crates.
- Mattresses are wrapped in specially designed protector bags
Our care for your furniture doesn’t end once it’s all wrapped up. We ensure it remains protected throughout the whole moving process, including once you arrive at your destination. Part of our relocation service includes unloading and unwrapping all your furniture, positioning it where you want it and then removing all the packaging debris. The disassembly and reassembly of conventional beds is also a normal part of our removal service. At Grace, we want you to be able to settle into your new home faster.
Items of furniture that require specialist skill or equipment such as waterbeds or prefabricated wardrobes, are a little tricky and must be prepared for transport prior to removal day. However, in most instances, Grace Removals can arrange for a specialist to attend to these tasks for an additional charge.
NOTE: When it comes to furniture it is important that you don’t polish wooden furniture before your moving day as it can cause condensation when the item is wrapped for transit.
